Angeles City, February 2024 - Congressman Carmelo "Jon" Lazatin II and ABC’s for Global Health joined hands in a collaborative healthcare initiative to provide free medical care to indigent patients in Angeles City.
In a landmark meeting at Team Lazatin District Office last November 23, 2023, Honorable Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II announced an upcoming partnership slated for release last January.
The meeting focused on fortifying the support of the Office of Congressman Jon Lazatin for indigent patients through ABC’s for Global Health’s Medical Mobile Clinic in Angeles City.
Present in the meeting were Congressman Carmelo Lazatin himself, ABC’s for Global Health Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Arthur Gallo, and Ex-Barangay Captain of Pulung Maragul, Armando Oliveros.
The collaboration aims to bridge the healthcare gap by ensuring access to primary care services for those in need.
ABC will provide crucial medical consultations and medications, while Congressman Lazatin's office is set to play a pivotal role in facilitating diagnostic and laboratory examinations.
Dr. Gallo recently confirmed that the partnership has already materialized and is still ongoing.
“Nagmaterialize na,” he confirmed.
Dr Gallo also clarified, “Bale ang mga patients ng ABC’s sa Angeles City sagot na ni Congressman Lazatin ang lab [exams]. Ilakad lang nila sa office niya ang [mga] requirements.”
Additionally, the partnership includes vital support in the form of medications to ensure a comprehensive healthcare experience for the indigent population.
As Hon. Lazatin emphasized during the announcement, "Truly, together we can do so much more." This joint effort exemplifies a forward-thinking approach to addressing healthcare challenges, bringing hope and improved services to the constituents of Angeles City.
